Direkt im Grenzgebiet zwischen dem Bergischen und dem Sauerland findet man auf einem ca. 30 Hektar großem Gelände Deutschlands größten Regionalflugplatz. Der Flugplatz an der A45 und A4 dient nicht nur dem Betrieb von Sport und Privatmaschinen. Er wird auch regelmäßig von Rettungs- und Polizeihubschraubern, sowie von Internationalen Learjetsangeflogen. Neben der hierfür notwendigen Betankung mit Turbinentreibstoff gibt es zudem eine BGS-Bundespolizeistelle auf dem Flugplatz.

Nach der Erneuerung mit einem speziellen Antiskid Asphalt wurde die Start, und Landebahn auf eine Länge von 1.260,00 mtr. und 20,00 mtr. Breite ausgebaut. Die bis dato gültigen Bodenmarkierung mussten durch uns entfernt und anhand der Umbaumaßnahmen neu eingemessen und appliziert werden.
Die besondere Herausforderung lag darin die Markierungsarbeiten in extra zugeordneten, vorab mit dem Betreiber abgestimmten Zeitfenstern, auszuführen, ohne den Flugbetrieb einzuschränken.
Das hier applizierte Markiersystem ist von der ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organisation) zugelassen und entsprechend zertifiziert. Es handelt sich um ein praxisbewährtes, dünnschichtiges Markierungsmaterial, welches den besonders hohen Anforderungen auf den Start- und Landebahnen, sowie für Rollfeldbereiche und Vorfelder genutzt werden kann.

This MID system is used for thermal insulation in roof trusses, facades, or floors in housing construction.
