Saving lives in the blind spot at Tevex Logistics

On June 18, 2015, the European Commission honored the city of Essen with the title “European Green Capital City”.

This award recognized the previous commitment by the city of Essen on issues like climate, environmental, and resource conservation, as well as the plans and goals managing the transformation in these areas for the long-term.

With this in mind, we were commissioned to apply a green trail made from a specially manufactured template with various turning points. The special challenge was in only being able to work between the hours of midnight and 5:00 AM, and without causing any emissions in the process. To do so, a special reversible water-based color system was used and a silent electric motor-operated airless machine was manufactured.

The trail was installed right in the heart of the city over a total length of 12 kilometers.
