Meinerzhagen Regional Airfield

Directly in the border area between the Bergisch and Sauerland regions, you will find Germany’s largest regional airfield on an area of approx. 30 hectares. The airfield on the A45 and A4 dient nicht nur dem Betrieb von Sport und Privatmaschinen. Er wird auch regelmäßig von Rettungs- und Polizeihubschraubern, sowie von Internationalen Learjetsangeflogen. Neben der hierfür notwendigen Betankung mit Turbinentreibstoff gibt es zudem eine BGS-Bundespolizeistelle at the airfield.

After the renewalwith a special anti-skid asphalt, the runway was extended to a length of 1,260.00 m and a width of 20.00 m.. width The previously valid ground markings had to be removed by us, re-measured and re-applied on the basis of the reconstruction measurements.

The special challenge was to carry out the marking work in specially allocated time windows agreed in advance with the operator, without restricting flight operations.

The marking system applied here is approved by the ICAO (InternationalCivil Aviation Organization) and certified accordingly.It is a field-proven, thin-layer marking material that can be used to meet the particularly stringent requirements for runways, as well as for taxiway areas and aprons.

ISOLATION

carapax offers not only protective coatings but also coatings for thermal and sound insulation. This MID system is used for thermal insulation in roof trusses, facades, or floors in housing construction. The space to be insulated is filled in a dimensionally stable, complete, and gapless manner. This minimizes heat loss and damaging condensation is completely prevented.

In addition to thermal insulation, the system also meets all requirements for the properties of an excellent sound insulation because the stability and flexibility of the material remains throughout the entire service life.

carapax also meets the requirements for fire safety protection of Class E, is mold and mildew resistant, and has better insulation values than commercial insulation.
